So, it’s officially been one month since I stopped doing my project365… I miss it. I know I do not have the time to blog as much as I did last year but I think I need to start blogging again for my own sanity. I am still in the mindset where when something exciting happens I think to myself “Man,…
Miss my project365 blog? Well, I’m back and better than ever! Follow my new blog (sarahmichelle92.tumblr.com) for more insights in my life and a good laugh! =)

DAY ???
Hello my lovely followers,
Well, in the last week, life has gotten the better half of me and has made me rethink and appreciate a lot of things in my life. I have thought a lot about this, but I have decided to discontinue my project365 for the time being. I think I just need a break from all of this, and some “me” time I guess. So, thank you for following my posts for the last year. I hope you all enjoyed my project as much as I did, and I love seeing some of my friends starting their own projects this year! Here’s one last picture to end my project =) Let’s hope 2012 will be the best year yet!
Love,
Sarah
DAY 367, 368, 369 and 370
Well, I am starting a new method where I will post every few days as a way to save time in my busy life…
The rest of my vacation in Florida was very…umm…cold. On day 367 Meghan and I went back to the beach but it was so cold that we were only there for a few hours. And the seagulls were literally hovering over us the whole time. There was one that only had one foot and it really grossed us out. So, we ended up going and seeing “We Bought a Zoo” instead and it was soo good! Minus the fact that there were no giraffes.
I would have to say that the highlight of my trip was having the chance to go to HARRY POTTER WORLD! Holy goodness was I in heaven. I actually teared up a little bit when I first walked into Hogsmeade, no joke. The coolest part was that the park was filled with Europeans on vacation so there were legitimate British accents EVERYWHERE! It basically made my life. The ride inside the castle was sooo cool! It was probably my favorite part =) Also, I met a few people from Europe while we were in line for Ollivanders (I can’t remember what country) that were at WYD this summer in Madrid! They had a WYD backpack on which is how I realized this. It truly is a small world…
I made it all the way home safe and sound - even with my crazy/hectic 31 minute layover in Minneapolis. =)

DAY 366:
Beach beach beach beach! I LOVE THE BEACH! Meghan and I went over to Tampa today to go to the beach and had a blast! There is no better way to start the new year in my mind than hanging out at the beach! I finished the new Nikky Sparks book, laid out and listened to the Footloose soundtrack. Win.

DAY 365:
I DID IT! I completed a whole cycle of 365 pictures. This is the first New Year’s project that I have actually stuck with and I am so proud of myself! I cannot believe how fast this year has flown by. As I look back on all the pictures I have taken this year I am overcome with so many memories that it blown my mind. 2011 has definitely been one of the most amazing years of my life and I have learned so much about myself. I have had amazing faith experiences that have changed my whole outlook on life, I have made many new friends, I tried new foods and I traveled to Europe!
Now comes the big decision… should I do it all again? As much of a commitment as doing project 365 was, I really like the idea of documenting my life and being able to looks back on all the fun things my life entails. The college years (I am told) are some of the most exciting years of a person’s life, and I think having this kind of documentation will be really fun to have. So, the answer is yes, I will be continuing my 365 for the next year. I may do it a little differently and only blog a few times a week but still take pictures for every day. That way, it will not be a time consuming but all the facts will still be there. =)
Finally, I need to talk about how I rang in the new year! I spent the larger part of the day at the pool with Meghan reading and getting tan. Certainly the best way to end my year! Meghan and I were pretty chill and didn’t want to go out to celebrate in the evening. We went to dinner with Meghan’s Dad and little brother and then went back to Meghan’s Mom’s house and watched yet another dumb movie and decided that the best way to end the year was to watch The Lizzie McGuire Movie. Yeah, we are THAT cool… This is what dreams are made of! =)

DAY 364:
I’m in FLORIDA with my BEST FRIEND!!!!!!! Today was quite a long day for me… my flight out of Lansing was at 8am so Dad dropped me off on his way to Detroit. I had a layover in Detroit and the ironic thing is that my Dad beat me to Detroit and he was in a car and I was on a plane (well, only 20 minutes in the air). I sat next to a nice older gentleman from Potterville and we chatted about music and school for the ride. I had a 3 hour layover at DTW and it was…interesting. I was all by my lonesome and ended up pretending to surf on the tram for a good hour. Yeah, my life is basically awesome. The flight to Orlando was pretty smooth and Meghan picked me up from the airport. I went to work with Meghan later in the evening and then we watched a movie (a terrible one, by the way) and ended up going to bed around 10:30 - we are soo lame! I do love being with my best friend, though!

DAY 363:
IT’S HARRY POTTER SNOWING OUTSIDE! I was super excited about this (hence the excited Sarah picture) and Jared and I went outside and made snow angels of course! Today was a packing extravaganza mostly because I am leaving for FLORIDA TOMORROW! I also got on a Spain kick and started working on my project! ICANTWAITFORTOMORROWTOSEEMYBESTFRIEND!

DAY 362:
It’s that time of year… Confirmation Retreat Time! This is my 5th confirmation retreat and boy do I love working with those kids! Gabby and I were in charge of music and had an absolute blast! It is really inspiring to see the kids grow that much in 24 hours and to know that I had a part in helping them. I think sometimes that I get more fulfillment out of it than the participants do! =) I had the opportunity to give a testimony about World Youth Day and I had so much fun talking about my experiences! I can’t wait to share with the parish in the spring! Overall, the retreat was really great, and I especially loved this group because it is my brother’s group!

DAY 361:
I spent the morning today getting work done for my break to-do list and actually got a bit accomplished! Later in the afternoon I met Celia and Courtney at Piece of Mine for our “annual” painting adventure. I made an ornament with the CMU SOM’s logo for my music tree! I ended the day with a skype date - absolutely perfect!

DAY 360:
Well I felt like a pretty princess today! I went to a military ball with Andy Jones and had a wonderful time! I actually ran into a few girls that I knew (totally random) at the ball, one from Grand Ledge and one from CMU. I knew it was about to be a good time when they started playing country music for the dancing. Yes please! They even played Red Solo Cup… Day. Made. =)

DAY 359:
Merry Christmas to all! Today was just a great Christmas! We woke up bright and early (before the 8am rule!!!!) to go to church and make it to West Branch before Rob and Trish had to leave. So, I got to see the whole family! We did our traditional stocking stuffers gift exchange and had a merry time. I also finished the Hunger Games series today… not too sure how I feel about it yet. I think I just need time to let it sink in. We finished out the day with a family pajama party movie night and watched “Dolphin Tale.” I think my favorite part of the day was hearing how excited Philip was when he opened his Mozart bobble head… I seriously love that kid! All in all a wonderful day!

DAY 358:
Merry Christmas Eve!! Today was a fairly long day for the Clark crew, but it was a good day. We left for Detroit at exactly 10am to get to Grandma’s house early. (Pictured are the Clark grandchildren, oldest to youngest) I realized I am the most stupid person in the world in the car (I was so excited to start book 3 of the hunger games series that I grabbed the wrong book - #2 - in my haste to pack and it was quite tragic…) Thankfully, Libby brought her copy to Grandma’s and let me borrow it so I could read it! The Clark Christmas was just as exciting as always… Grandma cried when she opened her gifts, the whole basement was covered in shredded wrapping paper and there were a few rowdy games of foosball. We left the Clark’s when everyone went to church so I could get to Mt. Pleasant to sing at St. John’s. (Have I mentioned I love my family for following me around with my insane schedule??) The 11pm service was quite darling, complete with brass quartet and was a wonderful way to end my day!

DAY 357:
I LOVE WEDDINGS! My friend Brandon got married today and it was basically a St. Mary’s winter reunion! We traveled from all over and had a great time celebrating with Brandon. Gabby, Elizabeth and I left from Lansing, picked up Anne in Flint and made our way to the wedding (literally in the middle of nowhere!) It was a beautiful ceremony, with FOUR priests celebrating! Even though dinner ended up being a little later than planned, we had a great time at the reception and even got some dancing in before we had to leave! I LOOOVED that they had a live band at the reception (something that I have officially decided I want at my wedding someday). It was definitely a great day! =)

DAY 356:
I drove all over today (thus beginning my weekend of traveling…)! In the early afternoon, Mom, Jared and I went over to DeWitt to check out the progress on the Roragen’s new house and boy is it going to be awesome when it is all done! After out adventures there, I headed up to Mt. Pleasant a bit early to hang out with Jared (my friend, not my brother) before my rehearsal and St. John’s. We chatted it up at Biggby’s and had a good time catching up. Rehearsal was good, and afterwards I drove back home to celebrate Christmas Eve-Eve-Eve with the family because we will be gone Christmas Morning. =)

DAY 355:
The Alumni Concert, “Thank You for the Music” was certainly a success tonight! It was so cool to see many of the peers I went to school with performing and seeing how much they have grown over the past few years! This concert was probably one of the best I have seen in Grand Ledge in a very long time. I sang two solos and a duet with Marlaina Marshall and it was just so much fun! I almost got a little emotional while I was singing because many of the people who have musically inspired me were sitting right in the first few rows of the audience. Getting to talk with Mrs. and Dr. Lange was probably one of the highlights of my night. I hope this concert happens again next year because I really enjoyed being a part of it!
